Australia’s Got Talent 2023 Winners Prize?

In essence, it is a talent competition with artists of all ages vying for a top prize of between $100,000 and $250,000 AU.

Australia’s Got Talent Auditions (AGT) process

The show has three stages: the preliminary round or the auditions, the semifinal round, and the final round. On television, just the audition stage’s high points are shown to viewers. The auditions are held in several Australian cities during some of the seasons. For the semi-final tryouts, the judges narrow the pool of accepted audition acts to roughly 40 acts.

The semi-finals of the programme typically include a public vote. The judges and the general public choose which acts advance to the finals. The judges would buzz in a cross in a tick during the first season of the programme. The show’s ninth season saw the cancellation of the audience voting on the performances.

A revised lineup for the judging panel was announced in January 2010 to account for Minogue’s pregnancy. Then, rumours about Kyle Sandilands and Brian McFadden serving as the new judges started to spread.

On February 4, 2010, Sandilands announced that he would serve as a judge on his 2Day FM breakfast programme. McFadden’s inclusion on the new judging panel was confirmed in a press release from the Seven Network on February 17. For the show’s fifth and sixth seasons, all judges made a comeback.

Sandilands was reinstated as a judge when the show moved to the Nine Network in 2013, however Minogue and McFadden were axed. As the new judges, Timomatic, Geri Halliwell, and Dawn French were introduced.

Following the announcement that Australia’s Got Talent would return to television in 2016, it was revealed that a whole new judging panel would replace Sandilands, Halliwell, French, and Timomatic. Later, it was reported that the new judges would be Kelly Osbourne, Eddie Perfect, Sophie Monk, and Ian Dickson.

The judging panel for season 9 was revealed to be Manu Feildel, Nicole Scherzinger, Lucy Durack, and Shane Jacobson in May 2019.

The season 10 judging panel for Britain’s Got Talent judges David Walliams and Alesha Dixon, Jacobson, and Kate Ritchie was revealed in June 2022.
