It's impossible to predict what will happen at Nashville's country music festival CMA Fest. As the party continues through the weekend Luke Bryan appeared in an unexpected spot.

The star was an unexpected guest at the Spotify House showcase. It took place at Ole Red (the Blake Shelton-owned bar located on Nashville's bustling Lower Broadway).
What's the surprising part? Bryan was at a bar owned and operated by a country star, but he could have taken a few more steps to play at his own place.

This is right: The showcase was held just across from Luke Bryan's 32 Bridge bar and live music venue, which the singer opened in 2018.

Although Bryan wasn't there, Shelton was on Instagram to wish Bryan a great set.

Bryan didn't miss the irony of Bryan appearing at Ole Red. Shelton actually took advantage of the opportunity to spark some good-natured rivalry between himself and his fellow singer.

"Well, well. "Luke Bryan," he says during the clip. Luke, you know that I am glad that you made the right choice. It was a great decision by you to perform at a real venue instead of your house across the street.
